Bio:
Chris is a consultant, teacher, a coach and a “do-er” when it comes to Design-thinking and Innovation, a field which she was exposed as a graduate student at Stanford University and an innovation consultant at IDEO. Her 25 years as an engineer, designer, inventor and a facilitator of creative and strategic adventures, has resulted in medical devices and systems, patents, and improved healthcare services, as well as supporting strategic direction-finding and innovation curriculum in universities.

From this background, she has created a set of tools for team progress that she uses internationally, both in companies and on campus. These tools give people a way to “do innovation” – – from exploration and strategy to prototyping the future, then bridging the usual gap between ideas and execution. She shares her enthusiasm for these techniques by leading courses and coaching teams.
People make change and have an impact using Design-thinking… and they have fun stretching themselves while doing it.

Short Message:
When the challenge you or your group face doesn’t have an answer ready for you in a book… Design-Thinking gives you a way to explore for solutions and test them for greater success. Take this opportunity to try it!
